For our location in Utrecht we are looking for a

To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for a HR Advisor (m/f/d) who is passionate about supporting employees and managers, providing trusteed HR guidance, and driving effective people solutions across the organization.

The opportunity

As a HR Advisor (m/f/d) you are responsible for all HR Operations for the Benelux and Nordics region. This role is the first point of contact for employees and managers in all their HR-related matters. You ensure HR processes run smoothly, consistently and in alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and strategic goals. This role will be involved in HR activities like payroll, recruitment, fleet management, time management and projects.

  • Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle from onboarding, change and offboarding of employees in the Benelux and Nordics region.

  • Provide expert support to managers with employees in the Benelux and Nordics region on all complex, individual-related topics.

  • Responsible for HR administration such as contract management, benefit administration, tax related matters, Visa processes and the fleet administration.

  • Lead employee absence processes in partnership with the health service provider.

  • Responsible for the initial onboarding of new employees: welcoming new employees and organize onboarding trainings as required locally.

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws in the Benelux and Nordics region.

  • Executes and supports the monthly payroll cycle: preparing and controlling the payroll in cooperation with the external payroll provider and providing the necessary information to finance.

  • First point of contact for HR related vendors, responsible for vendor oversight and improvements

  • Drive continuous improvement through process improvement and standardization in own work areas.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects to improve business results and drive operational excellence such as policy change and deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant HR experience and a successful track record

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Resourceful, determined, takes a collaborative approach and has a strong sense of urgency

  • In depth knowledge of labour laws and experience with legal processes • Operates with a high degree of autonomy and discretion in managing HR and advising leadership • Proactive in taking initiative, own projects end-to-end and drive continuous improvement in HR processes • Driven by data accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Business Proficient in English and Dutch (Must Have)
