Senior Security Consultant | IAM, Endpoint & Cloud Security | €6,500 - €7,500

Are you a senior security professional who wants to go beyond advising and take ownership of the actual implementation? For an international organization, we are looking for a Senior Security Consultant to play a key role in several global security transformation initiatives.

You will work across Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, endpoint security, and cloud and server hardening . Your involvement covers the full lifecycle: from assessing the current environment and designing the right approach to implementing and embedding security controls across the organization.

The IT landscape is strongly Microsoft-oriented, so hands-on experience with technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Azure is essential.

What will you be doing?

Your focus will be divided across three key security areas.

Identity & Access Management

You will assess the existing identity and privileged access landscape and help shape and implement its future state.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing the current IAM and PAM environment;
• Designing a scalable target architecture and security policies;
• Implementing and improving identity lifecycle processes;
• Strengthening privileged access controls;
• Improving access governance;
• Implementing and maintaining least-privilege principles.

Endpoint & Device Security

You will also be responsible for strengthening device and application security across the organization.

This includes:

• Designing and implementing MDM and MAM standards;
• Configuring and optimising security controls within Microsoft Intune;
• Defining device security and compliance requirements;
• Supporting the global onboarding of corporate devices;
• Implementing and strengthening Conditional Access policies;
• Defining and applying endpoint security baselines.

Azure, Cloud & Server Hardening

A third important part of the role is improving the security posture of server and cloud environments.

You will assess existing environments, identify configuration risks, and translate your findings into concrete technical improvements. You will work with standards such as CIS Benchmarks and

Microsoft Security Baselines .

Within Azure, your scope will include areas such as:

• Virtual Machines;
• Databases;
• Storage Accounts;
• Networking components;
• Other Azure resources and cloud workloads.

You will ensure that appropriate hardening standards are implemented and that the organization is able to continuously monitor its security posture.

Your role within the organisation

This is not a position where your involvement ends after delivering an advisory report. You are comfortable defining security architecture and policies, but you also have the technical knowledge and hands-on mindset required to turn those plans into working solutions.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams across IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Risk & Compliance .

You will also:

• Translate security requirements into practical implementation plans;
• Manage progress, risks and dependencies;
• Create clear and audit-ready documentation;
• Provide evidence of implemented security controls;
• Communicate progress and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders and management.

You understand that strong security controls also need to be practical and workable for the business.

You bring:

• Strong experience with IAM, PAM and Identity Governance ;
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID ;
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune ;
• Experience with MDM and MAM ;
• Knowledge of Conditional Access and endpoint security ;
• Experience hardening server and cloud environments;
• Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks , including CIS Azure Foundations;
• Experience working with Microsoft Security Baselines;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and securing Azure resources;
• Experience delivering security implementations across international or multi-region environments.

You are a senior security consultant who is comfortable moving between architecture, technical implementation, and stakeholder management.

You can assess an existing environment and design a future-state solution, but you are equally comfortable getting involved in the implementation itself. You take a pragmatic and delivery-focused approach and know how to translate security requirements into solutions that work in practice.

Your goal is to ensure that improvements across identity, endpoints and infrastructure are not only designed but also successfully implemented, measurably reduce security risks, and can be sustainably managed by the organization.

What can you expect?

• A salary between €6,500 and €7,500 gross per month , depending on knowledge and experience;
