Our Sales teams help to deliver Vestacy's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality brands possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have hundreds of salespeople across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Sales Operations Specialist supports VESTACY's distributor-led markets by delivering sales analytics, forecasting, planning, and performance reporting. The role enables data-driven decision-making through actionable insights, forecast management, and commercial performance tracking.
Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and distributor partners, the position helps identify growth opportunities, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance business performance. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data from multiple sources into clear recommendations that drive commercial results.
Your responsibilities
- Monitor sales performance across markets, customers, channels, and product categories, identifying risks and growth opportunities.
- Deliver regular sales reporting, insights, and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
- Lead forecasting activities, validate distributor forecasts, and drive forecast accuracy improvements.
- Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to align demand planning, inventory, and business objectives.
- Support annual planning, sales target setting, and commercial performance reviews.
- Analyze market trends, customer performance, pricing, promotions, and product mix to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data management processes, driving automation and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and distributor partners, providing analytical support for key business initiatives and strategic decisions.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Demand Planning, or a similar commercial support role.
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Health, Consumer Goods, Retail, or comparable industries.
- Proven understanding of sales planning, forecasting, demand management, and performance tracking.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and multiple reporting systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Fluent English and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment; experience with distributor-led markets is a plus.
