Sales Manager / Commodity Trader (Foods Ingredients - GCC & Levant Areas)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Manager / Commodity Trader specializing in the Food Ingredients for industries and manufacturers. These include additives like starches, sweeteners, citric acid, colorants, natural vinegars and others. This role is responsible for driving commercial growth across the GCC and Levant regions by managing the entire trading lifecycle—from sourcing and supplier negotiation to client acquisition and logistical execution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regional market dynamics and a proven track record of structured trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively develop, expand, and manage a robust portfolio of B2B clients within the GCC and Levant regions.
- End-to-End Trading Execution: Structure, orchestrate, and execute commodity trading operations, ensuring seamless alignment between sourcing, sales, and supply chain logistics.
- Strategic Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations with global/regional chemical and food ingredient suppliers and buyers to optimize margins and secure favorable commercial terms.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor commodity price fluctuations, supply chain trends, and regulatory shifts in the GCC/Levant territories to mitigate risk and capitalize on market opportunities. Adept at following Trends/Prices/Competition.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
While we are looking for candidates who are already working in the industry, we require the following profile:
- Industry Experience: Confirmed, successful experience in commodity trading or international business development within the Food Ingredients sectors.
- Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the commercial landscape, regulatory environments, and business culture of the GCC and Levant markets.
- Performance Track Record: A demonstrated ability to generate significant sales revenue (CA), meet ambitious commercial targets, and build long-term business relationships.
- Skills: Strong Business Development, analytical, negotiations, and contract structuring skills. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or French is a strong asset.
- Personal: Go-getter, Hunter instincts and strong social skills capable of build strong long-term client relationships.
- Education: University Degree

· Fixed Monthly Salary
· Commission on net margin of every deal
