Role Description The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will lead quality initiatives across complex software platforms, ensuring that products meet high reliability, performance, and security standards. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates involves designing and executing test plans and test cases, performing manual testing, and validating features across the software development lifecycle. The role includes collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify defects, refine requirements, and improve processes, as well as mentoring other QA team members on best practices. The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, documentation, and release quality, helping ensure that 10ix’s infrastructure solutions perform consistently across global environments.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance skills, with experience defining and maintaining quality standards for complex systems.
• Candidates should possess Manual Testing skills, including designing test cases, executing functional, regression, and integration tests, and documenting results clearly.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills sufficient to understand architecture, review code at a high level, and collaborate effectively with engineers on defect resolution.
• Experience with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and version control platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Git) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with automation testing concepts, scripting languages, or test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional, globally distributed environment.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead QA role, ideally within infrastructure, platform, or enterprise software products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
