Electrician

• Install electrical wiring, conduits, cables, cable trays, lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
• Install and terminate cables for DBs, SMDBs, MDBs, control panels, and other electrical systems.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults under the direction of the supervisor.
• Perform cable pulling, glanding, termination, and labeling.
• Install and connect lighting, power, and small electrical equipment.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
• Ensure electrical installations are properly secured, supported, and completed according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth progress of work.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow site safety rules, electrical safety procedures, and proper PPE requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report any defects, unsafe conditions, material shortages, or technical issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other electrical duties as assigned by the supervisor or project engineer.

Qualifications and Skills

• ITI, vocational training, or equivalent electrical qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in MEP or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance works.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites and in different working conditions.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
