Warehouse Keeper / Storekeeper

Job Summary

The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for managing all warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling construction materials, tools, and equipment through the SAP system while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive materials physically and on SAP system against approved Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery notes.
  • Verify quantities, specifications, and condition of materials upon receipt.
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and complete SAP transactions accurately.
  • Store materials properly according to warehouse standards and material classifications.
  • Issue materials based on approved Material Requests (MRs) through SAP.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement regarding shortages or urgent requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all warehouse transactions are updated in SAP in a timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Track damaged, slow-moving, and obsolete items and report to management.
  • Ensure proper labeling, coding, and arrangement of materials inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with project teams, procurement, logistics, and finance departments.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in construction, contracting, infrastructure, industrial, or project-based companies is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping operations.
  • Experience in construction, contracting, or industrial companies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and SAP software is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English and Arabic.

  • The role may require frequent movement within warehouse and project areas.
  • May involve lifting, handling, and moving materials and equipment in accordance with approved safety procedures.
  • Exposure to outdoor/site conditions may be required depending on project location.
