Machine/ Equipment Operator

Role Overview

The Operations & Equipment Support Operator will assist with equipment operation, basic machine monitoring, packing, handling, safety checks, and coordination with suppliers or technicians when required.

This role is suitable for someone practical, careful, and willing to work in a hands-on operational environment involving machinery, products, and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor industrial equipment used in daily operations.

Assist with equipment start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and daily checks.

Monitor operating conditions such as pressure, temperature, timing, and output quality.

Carry out packing, weighing, labelling, and preparation of goods.

Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues when necessary.

Coordinate with equipment suppliers, technicians, and service personnel on maintenance or troubleshooting matters.

Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers from China when required.

Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.

Follow workplace safety procedures when handling machinery, equipment, and goods.

Support stock movement, loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations.

Record simple daily operation, equipment, and maintenance logs.

Assist management in improving workflow, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Able to speak Mandarin to communicate with China-based suppliers and technicians.

Basic English is required for workplace communication and simple records.

Prior experience in machine operation, production, warehouse, logistics, F&B manufacturing, or industrial equipment will be an advantage.

Comfortable working with machinery and in a hands-on operational environment.

Able to follow safety instructions and standard operating procedures.

Physically fit and willing to assist with lifting, packing, and movement of goods.
