QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs.
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, checklists, inspection requests, test reports, NCRs and QA/QC records .
• Conduct inspections for concrete, reinforcement, earthworks, drainage, roadworks, structural and finishing works.
• Coordinate material inspections, laboratory testing and site testing.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs and ensure timely corrective action and closure.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, QP/RE/RTO and subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor quality and workmanship.
• Support ISO 9001 , internal audits and client/consultant audits.
• Maintain quality records and prepare periodic QA/QC reports.
• Promote Right First Time and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field .
• 3–5 years' experience in construction QA/QC.
• Singapore construction experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial, petrochemical, oil & gas, Jurong Island or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, NCR/CAR, concrete, earthworks, drainage and roadworks .
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications and construction standards.
• Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.
• CONQUAS/Quality-related certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

A hands-on QC Engineer who can work independently at site, identify quality issues early, coordinate inspections, control subcontractor quality and ensure proper documentation and timely NCR closure.
