Medium Voltage Technician

WTS Energy is recruiting a Medium Voltage Technician for field based projects across the Netherlands.

In this role, you will work on the construction, maintenance and servicing of medium-voltage installations across the Netherlands. You'll work both in the workshop and on-site, helping to deliver reliable and safe energy infrastructure for a wide range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and service medium-voltage installations and transformer substations.
• Carry out electrical assembly work in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to complete installation work.
• Plan and coordinate activities with colleagues and customers.
• Identify technical improvements and ensure drawing updates where required.
• Deliver high-quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Completed MBO qualification in Electrical Engineering, MMI, EMMI, TMI or a related technical discipline.
• STIPEL or BEI high-voltage certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• A proactive, hands-on and customer-focused approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to contribute ideas.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch is essential for this role.
• Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship is not available.
