Tech Lead (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

Main duties and day-to-day tasks expected from the resource

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions
• Plan & Mobilize: Establish project charter, roadmap, and stage gates across ideation→discovery→feasibility→POC/RFP; define success criteria and acceptance metrics.
• Delivery Governance: Run cadence (steerco, working groups), maintain RAID and dependency views; ensure timely escalations and decision logs.
• Scope & Requirements: Guide discovery backlogs, facilitate workshops, and converge on prioritized epics/features and definition of done for each phase.
• POC/RFP Orchestration: Shape POC hypotheses, success metrics, and evaluation rubrics; coordinate RFP pack (use cases, non functional requirements, scoring model, commercials).
• Risk & Compliance: Identify tech/operational risks, data/privacy considerations, and third party risks; route to the correct internal control owners.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business units, IT, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives

Required Skills

Primary technical and functional skills Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development practices.
• Experience with digital technologies, including web and mobile applications, CRM systems, and cloud platforms
• Strong technical background in Java development; ability to understand and lead technical discussions
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with DevOps practices
• Possesses a clear understanding of enterprise architecture and the ability to guide development teams on technical matters
• Exposure to React.js or other modern front-end frameworks is a strong plus

Required Experience / Knowledge Areas

Specific domain or industry knowledge required Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in digital transformation initiatives.

Finical Services; Digital technologies (web and mobile applications); CRM systems; and cloud platforms.

Reports showing progress, risk and issues to agreed delivery plans.

Certifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.

Additional certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies strong plus.

Preferred Tech Stack

Exposure to React.js or other modern front-end frameworks and Java or other general programming languages.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with DevOps practices
