Senior Estimation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Estimation Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading estimation, tendering, cost analysis, and commercial preparation activities, ensuring accurate, competitive, and technically compliant bids across a range of infrastructure and civil construction projects.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• UAE experience in estimation, tendering, and cost management roles, preferably within infrastructure and construction.
• Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, cost estimation, quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and pricing.
• Proven experience in preparing competitive and technically compliant tenders for infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Strong ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of works, and contract documentation.
• Sound understanding of contract conditions, tender requirements, commercial terms, and submission procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation/costing software.
• Experience with Candy (CCS) software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates, supplier pricing, subcontractor rates, and cost benchmarks.
• Ability to conduct market research, cost benchmarking, rate analysis, and validation of estimation assumptions.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills when dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of UAE/regional construction practices, standards, and procurement processes is an advantage.
