Facilities Management (FM) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance tasks across civil and MEP systems, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify maintenance needs, diagnose structural or MEP issues, and generate detailed snag lists and inspection reports.
• Prepare technical and commercial documentation, including detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimations, quotations, scopes of work (SOW), and work completion reports.
• Supervise and coordinate field execution by directing in-house technicians, sub-contractors, and third-party vendors to guarantee high-quality, timely, and safe project completion.
• Manage resources and budgets, tracking material consumption, equipment availability, and manpower allocations to ensure all maintenance works remain within cost and schedule parameters.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, client-specific operating procedures, and local statutory utility/civil defence regulations.
• Liaise with clients, property managers, and stakeholders to resolve technical escalations, provide progress updates, and deliver transparent operational reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 year of experience in facilities management or facility maintenance operations, directly handling PPM, reactive maintenance, and site estimation.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, or Facilities Engineering.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge in civil works, MEP maintenance, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contractor supervision.
• Proficiency in software tools, including MS Office (Excel/Word) and AutoCAD (preferred), with familiarity in CAFM systems being an added advantage.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills to effectively interface with field technicians, vendors, and clients under tight operational deadlines.
• Location requirement: Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate prior to joining.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
