Job description

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Process Manager Operations - Merchandising EMEA, you are the regional owner of execution within the downstream I2C operating model. You ensure that Global intent is translated into clear regional inputs, decisions, and deliverables, and that the Region is season-ready across regional milestones, assortment decisions, and commercialization readiness.

You act as the single-threaded operational partner to the Regional Leaders, while also serving as a critical node in the Global × Regional I2C network led by Process Operations. Your role is to build durable regional operating muscle: disciplined cadence, clean handoffs, strong visibility, and early risk identification.

This role is not project management alone it is embedded ownership of how we operate in-region.

Meet Your Future Team:

You sit within the Regional Merchandising organization, working day-to-day with Regional Merchants, Planning, Brand/Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain partners.

You are also part of a global community of Regional Process Ops leaders, connected through the Downstream I2C operating model and supported by the Sr. Director, Process Operations. Together, this group ensures consistency of intent while respecting regional nuance.

If you were in the Process Manager Operations - Merchandising EMEA role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

Regional I2C Ownership & Execution

  • Own cross functional regional inputs and outputs against the downstream I2C calendar, ensuring clarity of ownership, timing, and dependencies.
  • Ensure Global milestones (line lock, assortments, frameworks, guardrails) are translated into clear regional actions, decisions, and deliveries.
  • Run the regional seasonal operating cadence (milestone check-ins, readiness reviews, risk assessments).
  • Act as the point person for regional readiness, surfacing risks early and driving resolution.

Global × Regional Connectivity

  • Partner closely with the Sr. Director, Process Operations to ensure regional execution aligns to the enterprise downstream I2C model.
  • Ensure regional inputs meet quality, timing, and format expectations required for global governance and decision forums.
  • Participate in global forums and pilots, representing regional context and implications.
  • Help scale standardized ways of working while flagging where regional differences require adaptation.

Visibility, Risk & Performance Management

  • Track progress against key I2C milestones and regional deliverables.
  • Identify downstream risks (timing, decision quality, handoffs, capacity) and drive mitigation before escalation is required.
  • Create and maintain clear visual artifacts (trackers, dashboards, milestone views) to support regional leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to readiness checkpoints that connect regional status to downstream impacts (allocation, content, channel activation).

Process, Tools & Ways of Working

  • Implement standardized calendars, templates, SOPs, and tools within the Region.
  • Partner with Process Ops to document regional process flows and R&R, ensuring they are practical and adopted.
  • Support adoption of project tracking and visibility tools (e.g., Smartsheets or similar).
  • Identify friction points in the regional process and partner on solutions.

Change Management & Capability Building

  • Support change adoption within the regional team as new processes and expectations are introduced.
  • Build trusted relationships with Regional cross functional teams to reinforce discipline without slowing creativity.
  • Train new team members on operating rhythms and expectations.
  • Reinforce best practices season over season.

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Scaling regional readiness checkpoints as part of a globally consistent downstream I2C rhythm.
  • Strengthening linkage between regional decisions and downstream Commercial / Supply Chain execution.
  • Partnering on future state tooling and data visibility enhancements.
  • Supporting pilots of new decision forums, KPIs, or seasonal governance models.

Are you our next Process Manager Operations - Merchandising EMEA?

  • Experience operating in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Ability to balance regional business needs with enterprise consistency.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable running cadences, tracking milestones, and holding teams accountable.
  • Confidence presenting status, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Highly adaptable and effective in ambiguity and change.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building scalable operating muscle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, or similar project management and visualization tools.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required. Equal Opportunity
