Health & Safety Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will help drive and develop the health and safety agenda across the sales market. You will ensure that health and safety standards are implemented, maintained and continuously improved, while supporting stores and functions in creating safe and healthy workplaces.

You will:

• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines

• Follow up on risk assessments, workplace inspections and health and safety action plans

• Coordinate and monitor the follow-up of health and safety topics identified through audits conducted by Security teams and other reviews

• Track, analyse and report incidents, near misses and health and safety performance indicators

• Support the delivery of health and safety training, awareness activities and communications

• Partner with stores and internal functions to identify risks, improvement opportunities and preventive measures

• Maintain health and safety documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date

• Support cross-functional projects, crisis preparedness activities and other health and safety initiatives across the sales market

• Contribute to developing and strengthening ways of working within the Health & Safety area

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work closely with Retail Operations, People, Facilities, Security and other internal teams to support health and safety activities across the sales market. You will also collaborate with colleagues in stores and liaise with external partners and authorities when required.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with:

• Relevant experience within Health & Safety, Risk Management, Security, Operations or a related field

• Experience coordinating initiatives, projects or compliance-related activities

• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation, standards and best practices, or the ability to quickly build this knowledge

• Experience working with data, reporting and Microsoft Office tools

• The ability to translate requirements into practical solutions for the business

• Strong communicators who build trust and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders

• Organised and structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Comfortable challenging existing ways of working and identifying improvement opportunities

• Solution-oriented and able to balance operational needs with compliance requirements

• Passionate about creating safe and positive workplaces

• Curious and motivated to further develop the Health & Safety function
