Job Summary:

The

Product Owner

is accountable for maximizing business value by translating Domain objectives, customer needs, and stakeholder priorities into a clear product backlog. The role owns backlog prioritization, defines actionable features and user stories, and ensures delivered increments meet business requirements, customer expectations, and success metrics.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, risk, and delivery capacity
  • Translate Domain strategy, OKRs, and business needs into clear features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with Business SMEs, Analysts, Architects, Engineers, QA, UX/UI, and enabling functions to refine requirements and resolve trade-offs
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and value delivery in partnership with the squad
  • Validate delivered outcomes against agreed requirements, success metrics, and customer / business expectations
  • Manage stakeholder alignment and communicate priorities, delivery progress, and product decisions clearly

Experience Required:

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, digital delivery, or related roles
  • Experience working in agile squads or cross-functional delivery squads
  • Proven experience managing backlogs, prioritizing requirements, and translating business needs into delivery-ready work
  • Experience engaging business, technology, risk, compliance, operations, and customer-facing stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of product management, backlog prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and agile delivery practices
  • Good understanding of Domain business context, customer journeys, policies, operations, and relevant regulatory considerations
  • Ability to use OKRs, KPIs, and delivery metrics to guide prioritization and value realization
  • Familiarity with delivery and collaboration tools such as JIRA
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, structured problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent.
