Compliance Counsel - Investigations

Our client is a prominent Abu Dhabi headquartered entity, with assets around the world in the utilities and energy sectors. The company has a complex structure and several subsidiaries and due to a significant set of mergers and acquisitions they have built build a best-in-class compliance function.

The Compliance Counsel (Investigations) is required to have demonstrated experience in leading and supporting local and international fraud, bribery, and corruption investigations. They will work closely with the rest of the Compliance function in order to design, implement, and train on policies and procedures that support the ambitious business objectives whilst ensuring compliance with local and international laws and safeguarding from internal and external risks.

Team fit is key, and the Head of Compliance is looking to build an outgoing, imaginative, energetic, and industrious team. He is requiring ‘doers’ who can truly work as business partners. Regional experience is highly desirable, however strong profiles sitting outside of the Middle East will be considered.

Our client is ideally looking for a UK or US qualified lawyer from a top tier law firm with at least 8 years' PQE, or a qualified lawyer who has already made the move in-house to a global organisation.
