About the Roles
We are seeking a Car Mechanic to join a workshop team in Sin Ming, responsible for vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair works. This is a permanent role with a salary package of up to $2,800 basic salary, plus OT and variable bonus, offering a stable opportunity with a structured 5.5-day work schedule (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm; Saturday, 9.00am to 3.00pm).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks for passenger vehicles.
- Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate methods.
- Carry out engine oil servicing, brake repairs, suspension repairs, battery replacement, air-conditioning servicing, and other general vehicle repairs.
- Operate diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect vehicles to identify existing or potential problems.
- Ensure completed repair works meet workshop standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper care of tools and equipment.
- Follow established workshop procedures and safety guidelines during all tasks.
- Support senior technicians with more complex repair and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Conduct test drives to confirm repair quality and vehicle performance when necessary.
What We’re Looking For
- Possess basic experience and knowledge in automotive repair and vehicle servicing.
- Able to carry out general maintenance and repair works independently.
- Familiarity with Japanese, Continental, or Korean vehicle brands will be an advantage.
- Hold a valid Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.
