Role Description: The Underwriter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The Underwriter will evaluate insurance applications, analyze risk profiles, and determine appropriate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing in line with company guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation, interpreting policy wording, coordinating with insurers and clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The role also involves preparing underwriting reports, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement of underwriting processes and products. The Underwriter will collaborate closely with internal teams to support customer confidence, transparency, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and risk assessment abilities, including evaluating financial, technical, and market information to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Proficiency in insurance principles, policy structures, and local regulatory frameworks, especially within the Saudi insurance market.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with insurers, clients, and internal teams, including the ability to explain underwriting decisions clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for reviewing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and meeting deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-focused mindset aligned with the company’s mission and values.
• Comfort with using standard office software and insurance systems; familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, business, or a related field; relevant professional insurance certifications (IFCE).
• Previous experience in underwriting.
