Foreman-Landscaping

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Landscaping Foreman with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including strong experience with landscaping companies in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for supervising landscaping works at project sites, managing landscaping workers and subcontractors, ensuring proper execution as per approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities at project sites.
• Lead and manage landscapers, gardeners, irrigation workers, and other site manpower.
• Execute landscaping works according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Landscape Engineers, Site Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site teams.
• Ensure proper installation of softscape and hardscape works, including planting, trees, shrubs, grass, paving, kerbstones, walkways, and landscape features.
• Supervise irrigation system installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper soil preparation, grading, planting, turfing, mulching, and fertilization works.
• Check the quality and proper installation of landscape materials and plants.
• Coordinate the delivery, storage, and utilization of plants, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Allocate manpower and equipment effectively to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Monitor work progress and report site requirements and issues to the Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure works are completed within the approved project schedule.
• Read and understand landscaping drawings, layouts, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate levels, setting-out, slopes, drainage, and irrigation requirements with the relevant site teams.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets project quality requirements.
• Identify and rectify defective or incomplete landscaping works.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the work areas.
• Ensure all workers follow UAE health, safety, and environmental requirements and project-specific HSE procedures.
• Supervise the use and maintenance of landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress, materials, and site activities.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Train and guide workers on proper landscaping techniques and safe working practices.
• Support the project team during inspections, testing, snagging, and handover activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in landscaping works.
• UAE landscaping company experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in landscaping projects within the UAE.
• Experience in supervising softscape, hardscape, irrigation, planting, and turfing works.
• Previous experience as a Landscaping Foreman / Landscape Supervisor is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand landscape drawings and site layouts.
• Good knowledge of landscaping materials, plants, irrigation systems, tools, and equipment.
• Strong manpower management and site coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE construction and landscaping site practices.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
