Pilot Plant Technician - Your future position?
Purpose
Givaudan is seeking a Pilot Laboratory Technician to support Fragrance & Beauty S&T Delivery Systems laboratory activities, sample preparation, routine study and operational excellence within a dynamic innovation environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform chemical synthesis at both lab scale and pilot scale as per SOP.
- Conduct basic post-synthesis analysis for quality assessment.
- Operates pilot scale spray-dyer, powder mixer and pan coater when scheduled.
- Participate actively in the day-to-day laboratory & pilot plant management, stock monitoring, maintain equipment in good condition.
- Conduct stability study, trouble-shoot quality related issues and other investigations as required.
- Manage raw materials, stock organization, and documentation.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment readiness, and compliance standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Requirements
Educational Background
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process, Sciences, Process Engineering, Material Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a laboratory environment in the chemical industry.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling and EHS practice in GMP.
- Familiar with Spray Drying and understands underlying functions of spray-dryer parameters.
- Experience with SAP is a Bonus.
Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a highly developed sense of service.
- Carry out routine tasks accurately by following strict methodologies.
- Ability to multitask and manage timeline well.
- Patient, meticulous, neat and good housekeeping.
- Strong sense of ownership and strive for improvement constantly.
