Job description

Job title – Senior Technician, QC, PE

Location – Tuas, Singapore

Reporting to the department owner, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control Department to ensure quality is achieved and maintained.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independently complex, routine, and non-routine laboratory activities including analytical tasks and sample preparation. Testing of incoming material and finished products and approve the product within the time stipulated
  • Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered
  • Manage stock of lab supplies & raw material as well as storage of samples prepared and maintain clean and well-organized laboratory/work place
  • Independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level
  • Assure compliance of SHE procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations, including LSRs, GMP, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and workplace safety protocols.

You Bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years process improvement experience in the flavor and fragrance industry will be an added advantage
  • Ability to operate & troubleshoot equipment
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and quality control standards
  • Experience in handling GC, LCMS, GCMS is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test results, troubleshoot quality issues, and maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
