Project Manager - Hospitality

This role is ideal for an architect who has transitioned into project management and is passionate about delivering high-quality hospitality developments. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of new hotel developments, renovations, and fit-out projects across the Middle East & Africa, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with Millennium brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hospitality development and renovation projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and hotel owners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall progress.
• Review architectural drawings, technical submissions, material specifications, and shop drawings.
• Identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects comply with local regulations, building codes, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts brand standards.
• Lead project coordination meetings and prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality, progress, and compliance.
• Coordinate design changes, value engineering proposals, and technical solutions.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical proposals and consultant/contractor submissions.
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
• Practical experience with RFP preparation, tendering, bidding, and quotation evaluation.
• Understanding of scopes of work, technical specifications, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial clarifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• 3-6 years of experience in project management, architecture, or hospitality development.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and project delivery.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Preferred:

• Experience working on hotel, mixed-use, or high-end commercial developments.
• Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and design guidelines.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and reporting tools.
• Experience using BIM workflows and digital collaboration platforms.

PMP certification or working toward PMP is an advantage
