Job description

Job Location: Dubai

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of total experience in MEP Construction Industry
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience is mandatory

Project Experience:

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on Villa and High-Rise Building Projects within the MEP construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify and maintain detailed BIM models for Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Prepare accurate MEP shop drawings, coordinated drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Create and update 3D models based on approved design drawings, shop drawings and site requirements.
  • Coordinate MEP services with Architectural and Structural disciplines and identify clashes using BIM coordination processes.
  • Ensure BIM models comply with project specifications, approved drawings and UAE authority requirements.
  • Prepare detailed layouts, sections, elevations and construction documentation from BIM models.
  • Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, Subcontractors and Site Teams to resolve design and modelling issues.
  • Incorporate approved design changes, RFIs, site modifications and as-built information into BIM models.
  • Support BIM coordination meetings and assist in resolving clashes between MEP services and other disciplines.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of BIM models and associated drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain model revisions, drawing registers and BIM documentation as required.
  • Provide technical support to site teams during installation and construction activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience in the MEP Construction Industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience is mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience in Villa and High-Rise Building Projects.
  • Strong practical experience in Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC BIM Modelling.
  • Mandatory hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Mandatory working knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings, shop drawings and installation practices.
  • Good knowledge of MEP coordination and clash detection.
  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards and authority requirements will be an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced MEP BIM Modeler with strong practical knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems, proven UAE construction experience, and extensive exposure to villa and high-rise building projects. The candidate must be capable of independently developing accurate BIM models and coordinating MEP services from design through construction and as-built stages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
