Job description

Key Responsibilities

⁠ ⁠Source and procure materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and subcontractor services required for interior fit-out projects.

⁠ ⁠Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.

⁠ ⁠Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and best value.

⁠ ⁠Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.

⁠ ⁠Prepare purchase requests, purchase orders (POs), and procurement documentation.

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site engineers to understand project material requirements and timelines.

⁠ ⁠Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites to avoid delays.

⁠ ⁠Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment where applicable.

⁠ ⁠Track purchase orders from issuance through delivery and resolve any supply issues.

⁠ ⁠Verify materials received against purchase orders and specifications.

⁠ ⁠Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

⁠ ⁠Develop cost-saving procurement strategies without compromising quality.

⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.

⁠ ⁠Conduct supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements or alternative vendors.

⁠ ⁠Coordinate import/export documentation and logistics when sourcing international materials.

⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.

⁠ ⁠Assist in project budgeting by providing current market pricing and cost estimates.

⁠ ⁠Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and purchasing forecasts for management.

⁠ ⁠Resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, and quality concerns in a timely manner.

⁠ ⁠Monitor market trends, new products, and material innovations relevant to the interior fit-out industry.

Qualifications

⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

⁠ ⁠3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in interior design, fit-out, construction, or MEP projects.

⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of construction and interior finishing materials.

⁠ ⁠Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management.

⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

⁠ ⁠Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.

⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

⁠ ⁠Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

⁠ ⁠Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
