About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital, providing comprehensive trauma and orthopedic surgical care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute and complex musculoskeletal injuries and trauma cases.
  • Perform emergency and elective orthopedic trauma surgeries, including fracture fixation and reconstruction.
  • Manage polytrauma patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary trauma teams.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
  • Participate in trauma call rotations and emergency orthopedic services.
  • Collaborate with emergency medicine, critical care, radiology, and rehabilitation teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and international clinical standards.
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Recognized Specialist/Board Certification (CCT, American Board, German Board, FRCSC, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent) in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship or advanced training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery is preferred.
  • Valid DOH License/Eligibility Letter or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-board experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon.
  • Expertise in the management of complex fractures, pelvic and acetabular injuries, periarticular fractures, and polytrauma.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
