Job Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Manage accounting and finance teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support decision-making processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant A successful CFO should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance within the energy and natural resources sector.
• MUST have EXTENSIVE Oil and Gas sector experience.
• MUST hold a financial qualification, ideally Big 4.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
