Assistant Manager - IT Applications : UAE National

An exciting opportunity for a UAE National technology professional to join a lean, high-performing IT team responsible for a broad landscape of enterprise applications. The role combines application support, development, project delivery, vendor management, and governance activities, providing exposure to a wide range of enterprise systems and stakeholders.

Description

• Support, maintain, and enhance a portfolio of 30+ business applications and technology solutions.
• Deliver system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and application lifecycle activities.
• Participate in application development, coding, debugging, and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
• Support technology projects, implementations, and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, governance controls, audit readiness, and compliance standards.
• Deliver user support, knowledge transfer, and training across business applications.

Profile

• UAE National candidates only.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, databases, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience working with ERP, HRMS, enterprise systems, or similar business platforms.
• Technical certifications such as ITIL, cloud, DevOps, or related credentials are advantageous.
