The Opportunity

As Project Director , you will be responsible for the overall leadership of major construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning through completion.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, control budgets exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest international quality standards.

This position reports directly to the Executive Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale construction projects from mobilization to final handover.
• Define project strategy, execution plans and operational priorities.
• Manage Project Managers, Construction Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Ensure contractual obligations are achieved while minimizing commercial risks.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, productivity and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project operations.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and international quality standards.
• Provide executive reporting on project progress, KPIs and strategic milestones.
• Mentor senior project teams and contribute to leadership development.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an inspiring leader with a proven track record in managing complex international construction projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Master’s Degree is considered an advantage.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of experience within large construction organizations.
• At least 7 years managing mega projects valued above USD 100 million.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international construction standards.
• Experience leading multicultural teams.
• Excellent commercial and financial management skills.
• Outstanding leadership and communication abilities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Availability to relocate to Dubai.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: AED 45,000 – AED 60,000

Equivalent to approximately EUR 11,000 – 15,000 per month (tax free), depending on experience and project background.
