The Opportunity

As a Planning Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget by developing, monitoring and optimizing detailed project schedules.

Working alongside Project Directors, Project Managers and Construction Managers, you will provide strategic planning support, performance analysis and forecasting throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.

Your ability to anticipate risks and propose proactive solutions will directly contribute to the successful delivery of some of Dubai’s most prestigious developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Analyze critical paths and identify scheduling risks.
• Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies when delays occur.
• Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Support project budgeting through schedule-based forecasting.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes and milestone tracking reports.
• Participate in progress review meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Analyze productivity trends and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure planning activities comply with contractual requirements and project objectives.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking analytical professionals with excellent planning and organizational skills who thrive in complex, fast-paced construction environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 .
• Good understanding of project controls and scheduling methodologies.
• Experience with cost-loaded schedules and project forecasting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is considered an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Availability to relocate to Dubai.

Preferred Experience

Experience within one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:

• Infrastructure
• Mixed-Use Projects
• Airports
• Industrial Facilities
• Residential Towers

Previous GCC experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: AED 18,000 – AED 28,000

Equivalent to approximately EUR 4,500 – 7,000 per month (tax free) , depending on experience and project portfolio.
