Job Title: Senior AI Software Engineer

Industry: Banking & Financial Services

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months, with strong potential for extension

Location: On site – Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE

Monthly Rate: 40,000–55,000 (Dependant on experience)

The Role:

• Help shape and build cutting-edge AI-powered products for a leading financial institution, working across the full technology stack
• Design and develop robust, event-driven, API-first backend services alongside modern front-end interfaces
• Build reusable components and libraries using contemporary frameworks to speed up delivery across teams
• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
• Optimise both frontend and backend for usability, performance, scalability and security
• Implement strong data protection, authentication protocols and security best practices throughout
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, product managers, data scientists and data engineers to refine features and improve data quality
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests to safeguard code quality, while keeping pace with emerging tools and industry best practices

Skills Needed:

• 5+ years' experience in product development, ideally within AI-driven products
• Strong full-stack background across backend and/or frontend development
• Hands-on experience with modern languages and frameworks such as Python, Rust, Go, React, Angular or Vue.js
• Proven ability to design and integrate secure, production-grade APIs, including versioning, observability (monitoring, tracing, logging) and modern authentication mechanisms
• Practical experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI or agentic frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework) is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and deployment automation, plus a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
