🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Payment Gateway Developer

ePay is looking for an experienced Senior Developer to help build, strengthen and scale our payment gateway technology.

The ideal candidate must have at least three years o f hands-on experience working specifically with payment gateways, payment orchestration platforms or Technology payment service providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable payment gateway systems

• Integrate acquiring banks, PSPs, card schemes and alternative payment methods

• Build and manage payment APIs, webhooks, transaction routing and reconciliation services

• Improve transaction performance, reliability and approval rates

• Troubleshoot complex payment flows and production issues

• Apply strong security practices aligned with PCI DSS and payment-industry standards

• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, compliance and business teams

Required experience:

• Minimum three years of direct payment gateway technology experience

• Strong backend development and API integration capabilities

• Practical understanding of authorization, capture, refund, reversal, chargeback and settlement flows

• Experience with 3-D Secure, tokenization, fraud controls and transaction security

• Knowledge of high-availability systems, databases, cloud infrastructure and microservices

• Ability to take technical ownership and work in a fast-moving fintech environment

This position is intended for candidates with genuine payment-gateway experience. General software-development experience without direct exposure to payments will not be sufficient.
