Purpose

As Global Reliability and Maintenance Advisor, you ensure that facilities, equipment, and machinery operate efficiently and effectively. You are responsible to provide expert advice on best practices for maintenance and reliability, including preventive, predictive, and corrective strategies. This often involves consulting with various departments to address their specific needs.

Responsibilities

You play a key role in optimizing the performance and longevity of equipment and facilities, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: You assist in diagnosing and resolving issues related to equipment and machinery. This may involve hands-on work or coordinating with other technical staff to identify and address problems.

Compliance and Safety: You ensure that maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. This includes keeping up-to-date with legal requirements and industry standards.

Documentation and Reporting: You maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules. You prepare reports for management to review performance and identify areas for improvement.

Training and Development: You train and mentor maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This might include organizing training sessions or providing on-the-job guidance.

Continuous Improvement: You identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and practices. This could involve adopting new technologies, revising maintenance procedures, or implementing best practices from industry standards.

Education

Masters or PHD degree in Engineering, preferable mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 15 years of experience in maintenance management, project management, or a expert related field.

Proven experience in leading and managing maintenance teams.

Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety regulations.

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software.
