This role combines leadership, strategy and entrepreneurship. As Manager Business Control, you'll lead the Business Control team and act as a trusted partner to the CFO, senior management and project teams. You'll have the freedom and trust to further develop Business Control while making a visible contribution to Quooker's continued growth.

You help the business make better decisions. Not by explaining what happened afterwards, but by influencing the decisions that shape the future. Whether it's major investments, strategic initiatives, international growth or cost optimisation, you translate financial insights into clear recommendations that drive action.

You keep a close eye on revenue, margins, costs and profitability, identify risks and opportunities, and advise management on the best way forward.

You'll also lead the planning and control cycle. You drive the budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to long-term business planning. Through clear management reporting, you provide the insights that support better decision-making. In addition, you coordinate the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process from a Business Control perspective.

You'll have plenty of room to take initiative. You develop business cases, evaluate investment proposals and continuously improve reporting, analysis and management information. If you see an opportunity to improve the way the business works or the insights it relies on, you'll have the freedom to make it happen.

About your team

You'll be part of a Finance team of 15 colleagues, with a close-knit Business Control team of three. Because the team is still growing, you'll have a genuine opportunity to help shape the way Business Control supports the business. Collaboration is informal, communication is direct and colleagues are always willing to help each other. If you enjoy taking initiative, sharing ideas and building something together, you'll feel right at home.

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Business Control, which may be complemented by experience in Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. You spot opportunities, ask the right questions and take ownership of improvements.
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. You're a trusted sparring partner for senior management and the CFO.
• You live in the Netherlands and are available to work primarily from our headquarters in Ridderkerk.
