Sector Process Industry & Construction

DNV is one of the world's leading certification bodies. We help organizations assure the performance of their products, people, facilities, and supply chains through certification, verification, assessment, and training services. Together with our customers, we build sustainable business performance and create trust among stakeholders across a wide range of industries.

Due to the growing demand for our services, we are looking for a Planner to join our Process Industry & Construction sector. In this versatile role, you will act as the link between customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders. You ensure that audits are carried out at the right time, with the right expertise, and in accordance with agreed requirements.

You will combine planning, coordination, and customer interaction in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. In return, you will enjoy a high level of responsibility, work closely with experienced colleagues, and have plenty of opportunities to develop your career within an international organization.

About the Process Industry & Construction Sector

Within this sector, we work closely together and share a passion for certification, quality, and safety. Together, we support our customers in improving their performance and complying with relevant standards and certification schemes.

Our auditors achieve this by conducting audits in the areas of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001), and Environmental Management (ISO 14001), as well as schemes such as Blik op Werk, SCL, and PSO. Our technical colleagues contribute by managing certification schemes, conducting reviews, and providing technical support and expertise to the team.

As a Planner, you are the central point between customers and auditors. You ensure that the entire operational planning process runs smoothly, accurately, and on time, allowing both customers and auditors to focus on what they do best.

  • Scheme Specialist: By working within this sector, you will develop and maintain knowledge of one or more certification schemes within the Process Industry & Construction portfolio.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: This is a role in which you can truly grow. You will be challenged, develop new skills, and continuously expand your knowledge. You will gain insight into our audit processes and service portfolio and may even have the opportunity to join an auditor during an audit.
  • Making a Difference: You support organizations in achieving their objectives and contribute directly to their success.
    • We Care: Our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
    • We Dare: We believe that transparency and quality help our customers perform better.
    • We Share: We share knowledge, insights, and expertise with each other and with our customers.
  • Flexible Working: We do not have fixed working hours. You can start your workday between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. While customer availability is important, we offer flexibility in how and where you work. Your office location will be Barendrecht, but you will have the opportunity to combine office-based and remote working.
  • Career Growth: At DNV, we actively promote internal development. Many of our colleagues build long-term careers within the company. Combined with our continued growth, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Transcript Business Assurance is a unit of DNV where we are working with our customers towards verifying them if they are compliant with some particular rules. We are responsible for scheduling audits. We need to assign the right person with the right competences to conduct such an audit. And we are analysing and improving their processes. But sometimes we need to register some findings like observation, opportunity for improvement, or even non-conformities. I verify our clients' system management by observing them, how they work, how they produce. It's very interesting because we are delivering some additional information for our customers, what they cannot see or discover in their own systems. My work life as an auditor is completely different than employees who are working from the office every day. Because usually I'm travelling to our customers that are located in a different part of our country. Almost every week I work with different people in different companies. So if you like travel, if you are well organized, DNV can be for you.

Working here

Since 1864 we’ve been dedicated to safeguarding life, property and the environment. Today we remain at the forefront of new technologies and techniques to help our customers transform for a more sustainable future.

At DNV you can expect to deliver career and industry defining work. You’ll be given the time to build your network, the resources to support your development, and the freedom to satisfy your curiosity and desire to learn.
