Purchase Manager

• Sourcing & Bidding: Review material requisitions, analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluate requests for proposals (RFPs), and source reliable local or international vendors.
• Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors to secure maximum cost savings.
• Purchase Order Management: Issue and manage Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) via ERP software (such as Oracle or SAP) in compliance with company approval policies.
• Site & Logistics Coordination: Partner with project managers, site engineers, and warehouses to track deliveries, prevent site bottlenecks, and expedite critical materials.
• Vendor Performance: Monitor vendor reliability regarding material quality, defect resolution, and delivery punctuality.
• Market Analysis: Track construction material cost trends and implement value-engineering or cost-control alternatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. Certifications like CIPS are an advantage.
• Experience: 3 to 10 years of purchasing experience, with a strong background in the local construction or contracting sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP MM) and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
• Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with construction materials, reading project drawings/BOQs, and local market supplier networks.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional contract negotiation, leadership, crisis-management, and cross-functional communication abilities

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
