Strategic Designer

The ideal candidate is a creative team player will be able to think strategically across different media platforms and own the creation process from inception to production. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Visualise and frame content for briefings, research, project updates, and developments in an engaging manner
• Design materials in different formats (e.g. presentation decks, posters, worksheets) and on different platforms (e.g. Figma, Creative Cloud, etc…)
• Sketch and develop wireframes and user flows for experiences
• Lead on design-oriented tracks, with the direction of Narrative & Design Strategy Advisor
• Craft and design materials for internal workshops and sessions, across projects
• Gather inspiration and conduct design research
• Share and stay attuned to the latest tools and approaches in the visual design world, and share back
• Develop work in an iterative manner, in collaboration with team members, with direction by the Narrative & Design Strategy Advisor

Qualifications

• Experience on projects in the UAE and understanding of the culture
• Flexible across different types of design and formats (e.g. presentations, brands, films, books, websites, spaces…)
• Experience in strategic design and methodologies or a desire to expand in this area
• Collaborative way of working, using tools such as Miro or Figma
• A plus: Experience in a design-oriented organization
• A plus: Proficient in Arabic and English
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Experience on various social media platforms
