Job Title: Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer – Dubai

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer to handle end-to-end design execution for residential and luxury interior projects in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of overall experience , including at least 2 years of experience in the Dubai/UAE market , with strong technical expertise and the ability to translate concepts into execution-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts
• Create functional and aesthetically strong interior design solutions
• Work on residential and luxury interior projects from concept to execution

2. Technical Design & Documentation

• Prepare detailed drawings including:
• Layout plans
• Electrical and lighting drawings
• Ceiling and flooring layouts
• Joinery and furniture detailing

Ensure drawings are accurate, execution-ready, and aligned with site requirements

3. 3D Visualization & Presentation

• Create high-quality 3D designs and renders
• Present concepts and designs to clients with clear explanations
• Make design revisions based on client feedback

4. Client Interaction

• Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget
• Translate client needs into practical and creative design solutions
• Manage client expectations throughout the design phase

5. Site Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and vendors
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation as per drawings
• Resolve on-site design challenges and modifications

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• 3ds Max with V-Ray / Corona
• Revit (preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Space planning and layout optimization
• Material selection and specifications
• Joinery detailing and custom furniture design
• Lighting design and ceiling detailing
• BOQ preparation and cost understanding
• Design for execution (DFE)

Dubai Market Knowledge (Mandatory)

• Understanding of Dubai authority approvals and regulations (DCD, DM, Trakhees, etc.)
• Familiarity with local vendors, materials, and sourcing
• Experience working with UAE-based clients and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field

Experience Required

• 5+ years of overall experience in interior design
• Minimum 2 years of Dubai/UAE experience (mandatory)
• Experience in residential or luxury interiors preferred
