Job Summary

White Monde Interior Designs & Fitouts is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with minimum 2 years of UAE experience specifically within the interior fit-out industry in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and company procurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

· Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for interior fit-out projects including joinery materials, gypsum systems, glass, tiles, flooring, lighting, hardware, MEP materials, and finishing items.

· Obtain multiple quotations from approved suppliers and evaluate them based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability.

· Prepare comparison sheets and recommend the most suitable supplier for management approval.

· Process Purchase Orders (POs) after obtaining internal approvals as per company procurement policies.

Vendor & Supplier Management

· Maintain strong relationships with UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors.

· Identify new vendors within the Dubai fit-out supply market to improve procurement efficiency and cost savings.

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

· Maintain and update the approved supplier database.

Project Coordination

· Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Designers to understand project material requirements and specifications.

· Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites to avoid delays.

· Track and follow up with suppliers for order confirmations and delivery schedules.

Documentation & Compliance

· Maintain proper procurement documentation including RFQs, quotations, comparison sheets, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.

· Ensure procurement processes follow company policies and internal approval procedures.

· Assist the accounts department in verifying supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Cost Control & Market Monitoring

· Monitor material pricing trends in the Dubai market.

· Support cost control by negotiating competitive prices and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

· Work closely with the Quantity Surveying team to ensure procurement aligns with project BOQs and budgets.

Key Skills & Competencies

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

· Knowledge of interior fit-out procurement procedures

· Good understanding of construction materials and specifications

· Excellent organizational and documentation skills

· Ability to work under tight project deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement tracking systems

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

· Minimum 2 years UAE experience in Dubai specifically within the Interior Fit-Out industry (Mandatory)

· Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials and suppliers in Dubai

· Experience in quotation comparison, purchase orders, and supplier negotiations

Preferred Requirements

· Experience working with interior fit-out contractors in Dubai or UAE

· Knowledge of BOQ and construction material specifications

· Ability to work under tight project deadlines

⚠ Important Requirement:
Candidates must have minimum 2 years experience working in the Interior Fit-Out industry within Dubai, UAE. Applications without relevant UAE experience will not be considered.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
