The focus will be on Ga2O3, an emerging material of high interest for high-power applications. The optimization of the MOCVD process in conjunction with building a digital twin is the topic of a BMFTR funded project together with the industrial partner AIXTRON.

Tasks

  • Growth of oxide films by MOVPE
  • Structural (XRD, AFM, optical microscopy), optical (spectroscopic ellipsometry) and electrical (IV, van der Pauw) characterization of oxide films
  • Evaluating and summarizing of experimental results
  • Participation in project meetings

Requirements

  • Completed academic study in physics, chemistry, mathematics or related fields,
  • at least a master degree
