AUTOCAD Engineer

We are Hiring – CAD Engineer

We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Position: CAD Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3 years in CAD design within an automotive or manufacturing environment
Software: CATIA V5

Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain 3D part, assembly, fixture and tooling models using CATIA V5
Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances and GD&T
Design fixtures, jigs, gauges and tooling for CNC machining and manufacturing
Support new product development from concept through production
Maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation
Handle drawing revisions and Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN)
Provide manufacturing and production support

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 – Part Design, Assembly Design and Drafting
Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
Experience in fixture, jig and tooling design
Good understanding of CNC manufacturing, machining and fabrication processes
Experience with BOM creation and engineering documentation
Knowledge of revision control and engineering change management
AutoCAD and ERP/PDM/PLM experience will be an added advantage
