Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction / Infrastructure Manager with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction, particularly NDRC (Non-Destructive Road Crossing), road works, underground utilities, and pipeline projects.

The candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise overall construction activities for infrastructure projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor NDRC/HDD, road crossing, pipeline, and underground utility works.
• Manage road construction, excavation, trenching, backfilling, reinstatement, and related civil works.
• Coordinate installation of water, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, and other utility pipelines.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Prepare and monitor project construction schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Monitor daily progress and prepare construction progress reports.
• Ensure all construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate road closures, traffic diversions, permits, and authority requirements where applicable.
• Identify construction issues and implement effective technical and operational solutions.
• Monitor project costs and minimize unnecessary delays, rework, and material wastage.
• Ensure proper coordination between civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company policies.
• Review subcontractor performance and ensure work is executed according to contractual requirements.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Maintain proper project documentation, records, and as-built information.
• Resolve site-related technical and construction issues in coordination with the engineering team.
• Provide leadership and guidance to site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and construction teams.

Required Technical Experience

Candidates should have strong practical experience in:

• NDRC / HDD works
• Road construction and road reinstatement
• Underground pipeline installation
• Water and sewerage pipelines
• Stormwater and drainage networks
• Utility diversion and protection
• Excavation, trenching, shoring, and backfilling
• Road crossing and utility crossing works
• Asphalt and interlock works
• Manholes, chambers, and related infrastructure works
• Traffic management and road diversion works
• Coordination with local authorities and consultants
• Testing, commissioning, and project handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Strong experience in infrastructure, NDRC, road, pipeline, and utility projects.
• UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site management.
• Ability to manage multiple construction activities and teams simultaneously.
• Good communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and utility drawings.
• Knowledge of project schedules, progress monitoring, and construction planning.
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant construction/project management software.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
