Software Quality Tester

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software Quality Tester to join our growing technology team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in testing both web and mobile applications, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience testing React Native applications and contributing to test automation will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, UI/UX, cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and product reviews to identify potential quality risks early.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Support mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms, including React Native applications.
• Ensure software meets performance, usability, and security quality standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and mobile debugging tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing React Native mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Experience working with cloud-based device testing platforms.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
