Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

The Opportunity

PE Global Recruitment is working with a leading international engineering contractor delivering one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join the team in Amsterdam.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a flagship mission-critical project, joining a business with a strong pipeline of data centre developments across Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical installations are delivered to the highest quality standards while working alongside experienced project delivery and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project's Electrical Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
• Carry out inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and relevant industry standards.
• Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and quality documentation.
• Monitor installation quality throughout all stages of the project.
• Complete inspections and generate detailed quality reports and NCRs where required.
• Ensure all quality documentation is maintained accurately and submitted in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Work closely with construction, commissioning and project management teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Monitor corrective actions and verify that issues have been closed out satisfactorily.
• Support project handover by ensuring all QA/QC documentation is complete and compliant.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the project team.

Requirements

• Trade qualified Electrician or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in an Electrical QA/QC role on large-scale construction projects.
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation standards, testing and inspection procedures.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and project specifications.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and QA documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Fluent English is essential.
