About The Job We are expanding our Quality Assurance Team in Amsterdam. The QA hub in Amsterdam focuses on quality assurance for Private and Corporate clients, Transaction Alerts , and additional QA tasks in the future.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will develop quality standards, perform testing, identify issues in Onboarding, ODD, and Transaction Monitoring processes, and prepare reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create and adjust policies and processes that support a zero-defect quality culture.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will manage first-line QA controls in both content and process, working closely with fellow QA Specialists. You will provide expert advice to colleagues in other departments and your findings will be used to develop improvement plans with management, acting as a professional partner within the organization.
You will work with AML experts on risk assessments, demonstrating decisiveness and ownership. You will perform quality assurance on CDD activities in line with international AML policies, local policies, and standards, clearly and accurately presenting and reporting your findings with a strong focus on risk management.
In this position, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders at our headquarters and in our local offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, London, Prague, and Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the pioneer group strengthening the new quality assurance framework for Saxo Bank.
- Perform quality assurance on different types of clients, transaction alerts, and AML alerts.
- Produce monthly reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics using established procedures.
- Build and develop QA knowledge within the team on quality assurance processes and tasks.
- Provide insight into quality gaps identified as part of the quality assurance process and ensure these gaps are communicated to the appropriate management and business owners.
- Analyze information gathered to develop recommendations for improvements and changes in current policies and procedures, ensuring continued compliance with Saxo Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering Policy and applicable regulations.
Your Profile As a person, you are adaptable, decisive, and a clear communicator. You have a strong attention to detail as well as stakeholder management skills.
Furthermore you have experience within some of the following areas:
- Proven track record within quality assurance (preferably international).
- Ability to identify significant risks through a solid understanding of laws, (local) regulations, and business practices.
- Strong AML and KYC background and exposure; experience working with different types of clients and countries is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of QA tools, methods, and quality assurance concepts.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Preferably hold certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA, or similar.
- Experience with at least two client segments: private, corporate, and/or institutional.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French, German, Italian, or Czech is an advantage.
