About the Job

We are seeking a creative, research-driven Character Personality Architect to design, develop, and refine the personalities of AI-powered digital humans and virtual characters. The successful candidate will lead the creation of believable character identities, behavioral frameworks, emotional intelligence models, and conversational styles that enable engaging, consistent, and human-like interactions across multiple digital platforms.

This is a multidisciplinary role working closely with AI engineers, prompt engineers, writers, conversation designers, UX specialists, voice artists, psychologists, and creative teams to build memorable digital personalities for customer service, education, entertainment, marketing, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design unique personality frameworks for AI-powered digital humans and virtual characters.

• Define character biographies, motivations, communication styles, emotional profiles, values, and behavioral patterns.

• Develop consistent conversation guidelines, personality rules, and interaction principles.

• Collaborate with AI engineers and prompt designers to translate personality concepts into production-ready AI behaviors.

• Create character documentation, personality bibles, dialogue examples, and behavioral specifications.

• Research psychology, storytelling, acting techniques, and human communication to improve character realism.

• Ensure personality consistency across voice, text, animation, facial expressions, and interactive experiences.

• Work with UX and product teams to optimize user engagement and emotional connection.

• Evaluate user feedback and conversational performance to continuously improve character quality.

• Stay informed about advances in generative AI, LLMs, digital humans, emotional AI, and conversational technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Creative Writing, Performing Arts, Game Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in character development, storytelling, dialogue writing, conversation design, interactive media, game development, AI applications, or related industries.

• Strong understanding of personality psychology, human behavior, communication theory, and storytelling.

• Experience designing fictional or digital characters with consistent personalities.

• Excellent writing, editing, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, conversational AI, or virtual human platforms.

• Strong creative thinking combined with analytical problem-solving skills.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams.

• Portfolio demonstrating character development, storytelling, dialogue writing, interactive experiences, or related creative work.

• Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
