Technical Manager (Construction)

We are seeking an experienced **Technical Manager for our Contracting Company (ALC)**with a strong background in high-rise building construction to lead the technical planning, design coordination, and execution of residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all technical aspects of the project are delivered in compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, project timelines, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all technical aspects of high-rise construction projects from design through project completion.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and civil consultants to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Review and approve construction drawings, technical submittals, material specifications, and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams during construction.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating materials and vendors.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and performance.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for management and clients.
• Mentor and develop engineering and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Professional engineering certification or membership is preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in construction,
• Proven experience managing high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural systems, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
• Thorough understanding of local building codes, authority approvals, and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
