Interior Designer / Draftsperson (Interior Fit-Out)

Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Draftsperson to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong design creativity along with technical expertise in preparing detailed drawings for interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare concept designs, mood boards, and space planning layouts
• Develop detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, and authority submission drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams
• Handle authority approvals (DM, DCD, DEWA, Trakhees, etc.)
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback
• Ensure all designs and drawings meet local regulations and project standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Interior Design & Drafting (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong skills in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of authority submission procedures in Dubai
• Ability to handle both design and technical drawing tasks
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Proficiency in 3ds Max, Corona, AutoCAD
• Experience in commercial / office fit-out projects
• Basic knowledge of materials, BOQ, and site execution
