Job description

The Medical Representative (Pet Health) is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the market presence of veterinary pharmaceutical and pet health products across pet clinics, veterinary hospitals, and retail pet shops in the UAE. The role combines technical veterinary knowledge with strong commercial sales capability to achieve assigned revenue targets, expand the customer base within the assigned territory, and build long-term relationships with veterinary doctors and key decision-makers. The position also focuses on effectively positioning the company’s products against competitors while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth within the companion animal sector. It requires a proactive, field-oriented professional who can maintain strong client trust while demonstrating commercial discipline and providing valuable market intelligence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for pet health products.

  • Promote veterinary pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, vaccines, and pet care products.

  • Conduct regular visits to pet clinics, veterinary hospitals, and pet shops across assigned territory.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, clinic owners, purchasing managers, and pet shop managers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and onboard new customers.

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.

  • Provide product training and technical support to clinic staff when required.

  • Ensure proper product display and brand visibility in retail outlets.

  • Manage customer database and update CRM records regularly.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and pipeline updates.

  • Follow up on payments and support credit control process.

  • Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pet health market trends and regulatory requirements.

• Veterinary degree (e.g., DVM or equivalent)

• Experience within the UAE pet health / veterinary market

• Strong sales and marketing capabilities

• Good communication skills with proficiency in English

• UAE driving license is required
