Shift Engineer (m/f/d)

What you'll do...

• Ensure that the hotel’s technical operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.

• Carry out minor repairs and troubleshoot technical issues across all areas of the hotel with accuracy and care.

• Operate, maintain, and document all technical installations and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.

• Inspect and maintain safety and fire protection systems, making sure all regulatory and safety standards are met.

• Perform painting, repair, and general maintenance tasks to preserve the hotel’s facilities at a high standard.

• Coordinate material and supply requirements with departments operations. to the ensure relevant smooth

• Take ownership of the hotel’s technical infrastructure – from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to plumbing and electrical installations – keeping everything running safely and reliably.

What we're looking for...

• Completed vocational training in a relevant field (Electrical, Plumbing, Building Services, or a related trade)

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Electrician, or in a similar role is an advantage

• Fluent in both German and  English (any additional language is a plus)

• Solid technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to problem-solving

• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and varying working hours

• Confident in carrying out general maintenance tasks and minor repairs

• A proactive team player who can also work independently
